How to find usOn arrival to Oslo Airport, Gardermoen, you may take the Airport Express Train to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), or take the Airport Bus to Oslo Bus Terminal. From there take a taxi to the Centre in Drammensveien 78. Invited fellows are please asked to keep the boarding cards, train ticket and taxi receipt, and will get the travel expenses refunded on arrival. The Centre for Advanced Study (CAS) is located at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters in Oslo, and our entrance is on the left side of the building. You may also reach CAS by public transport (Tram no. 13 towards Jar). The tram stop Jernbanetorget is located just outside the Oslo S. There is also a tram stop at Nationaltheatret in Stortingsgaten (some departures of the Airport Express Train will also make a stop at Nationaltheatret continuing westwards after Oslo S). The tram stop closest to CAS is Skarpsno in Drammensveien. Public transport fares: You may buy tickets from the tram/bus driver (NOK 50,-), but bought in advance (from vending machines or Narvesen/7-Eleven kiosks) the ticket price is NOK 30,-. Day/week/month passes are also available.
